HUITEX® Conductive LLDPE Geomembrane has a formulated electrically conductive bottom layer for spark testing to efficiently detect leak location. This high-tech detectable layer takes place simultaneously through extrusion process.

HUITEX Conductive geomembranes are primarily used in applications where the early detection of leaks or breaches is crucial. By integrating a conductive layer within the geomembrane, electrical current can be applied to the liner system. If a puncture or damage occurs, the electrical current will be interrupted, indicating the location of the leak. This enables prompt repairs and minimizes the risk of environmental contamination. In addition, the conductive liner can lead to cost savings over the long term. By enabling the early detection of leaks, the need for costly cleanup operations, remediation efforts, and prolonged downtime can be minimized.

It is important to note that conductive geomembranes are specifically designed for applications that necessitate leak detection and electrical conductivity. In other scenarios where conductivity is not a requirement, non-conductive geomembrane may be more suitable.
